Who is Jamie?
For those new to this blog, my name is Jamie. I am a follower of Jesus, a wife to my best friend, and a mom to three amazing teens (yes they are now all teens), which I homeschool. The order I listed here is purposeful. I am first a child of God, second a wife (helpmate) to my husband, and then a mother to my children. If I don’t have God first than my relationship with my husband is no good. If my husband and I are not right, my children will be effected. So there in a nutshell you have my priorities.
I have finished my first year of Charis Bible College which has given me new insight into God’s word and a greater hunger to learn. As some of you know I love to share about my faith and what God is showing me while I read His word.
When I’m not schooling I also enjoy reading, gardening, spending time with my husband, walking, having long talks with friends near and far. I love to work on projects around the house and enjoy refinishing furniture. But most of all I love spending time each day with God, that is my one desire every morning.
My hope and prayer in writing
My prayer in this journey is to give hope in a world that so desperately needs it. I hope to encourage believers to fight the good fight. I hope to encourage couples to stay true and faithful to each other, no matter what storm the enemy throws at you. If I can do one of these things I know my Daddy (God), will be pleased; as I have obeyed Him in starting this blog and in writing to inspire and encourage others to know Him and know that He loves you all.
It is my hope that through my stories or revelations from God I can enlighten those that may come across my blog. I started this years ago, but I have never felt, till today, that I need to really do what God has called me to do.
I would love to hear from those that come across my blog. I would love to hear your thoughts and how I can pray with or for you. My desire is to be apart of a community of believers that can encourage and uplift each other.
Praying for you and your family. Your attitude while facing this difficult time is both amazing and inspiring to me and I’m sure many other people. Thanks for sharing so that your brothers and sisters in the Family of God can support you with prayer.
